Created in 1957 for the
"Interbau" architects like Oscar Niemeyer, Alvar Aalto, Arne
Jacobsen, Egon Eiermann and many more architects created the
"Hansaviertel" in Berlin. I was visiting on a sunny and quiet Sunday
morning and felt somehow transformed. It´s a fascinating place, with many
inhabitants from different backgrounds, all with their own story, living in the
"city of tomorrow".

One of the most beautiful houses and very best examples of midcentury modern architecture is the Rose Seidler House in Sydney, built by architect Harry Seidler. If you are in the area - you definitely have to visit this very extraordinary place!

shopfront signage
I also discovered this wonderful shopfront signage which sort of reminded me a bit of something very glamorous happening in the late 50ies or so ...
things I enjoyed lately:
On my recent holiday to Spain, I discovered this little scenery, which appears like the lemon having just been fallen down from a nearby tree, and the table maybe standing there since approx 1951.....
